We’re a friendly team of case managers all with over 16-years experience within our own profession, bringing together 35 years of case management and litigation experience.

Children, young people and adults with:
• Neurological injuries arising from acquired and traumatic brain injury, birth injury leading to cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, exposure to sodium valproate during gestation.
• Neurological conditions for example stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease and disorders, dystonia, meningitis.
• Complex multi-trauma.
• Orthopaedics.
• Amputations.
• Post-surgical intervention.
• Hearing loss and cochlear implants.
• Musculoskeletal Injuries.
• Older persons multi-pathology.

We work with both unsettled and settled litigation cases. As part of this we work closely and communicate effectively with solicitors and court of protection deputies. We also attend case conferences and court as a witness of fact. We have a proactive approach to sharing our case management notes and documentation with solicitors, ensuring that they can access up to date documentation securely, as and when required.

As part of our role we focus on rehabilitation, well-being, quality of life, daily roles, social activities, education, work, voluntary opportunities, leisure and play.
In some cases we implement employed or agency care packages in order to enable and empower the client to carry out daily meaningful activities.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have the necessary HR and administration support to effectively and safely implement bespoke care packages for our clients.

StanleySmith Case Management carry out the following services for children, young people and adults:

• Immediate needs assessments and reports under the rehabilitation code
• Catastrophic Injury Case Management
• Crisis Case Management (dip in and out to support crisis)
• Goal specific and short implementation Case Management. For example, pre and post-surgery case management.
• Conventional Case Management
• Discharge planning Case Management
• Desk Based Case Management for small claims

We write 6 or 12 monthly update case management rehabilitation reports. These include the case management and rehabilitation costs. In addition, we complete monthly action plans to illustrate progress on the client’s goals. We monitor the costs of professionals involved and where appropriate
 we audit our processes and outcome measures to ensure that we are cost effective in the services that we are providing. We offer competitive case management rates whilst retaining a high quality service and experienced case managers.
